A twin DJ was born on December 2, in the Bronx, New York. Living in the boogie down and listening to hip hop changed June’s world. After living in the city for 10 years, June’s family decided to move to a better place, Pennsylvania, hoping he and his brother would have a good life and a better lifestyle.
DJ June has been DJing since he was 13 years old, when he would use his dad’s equipment. Even though it was difficult not having his own equipment, June was still able to rock music mixed by DJ Excel, Funkmaster Flex, etc in the attic. Although, he really started to get into, and learn more about, DJing while watching DJ Rob. As June grew up he started buying his own equipment and doing house parties and this is where he gained and perfected his skills in front of a crowd.
After high school June joined the military (USMC), but still continued DJing. He officially broke out in the DJ game while in Jacksonville, North Carolina (1998). June played clubs such as 108, Party Zone and Coconuts, where he played Reggae, Hip Hop, R & B, Baltimore House and Gogo. He also opened for artists like Fat Joe, Fabolous, DJ Clue, Petey Pablo and many others.
Until 2002, June and his partner in crime, DJ Kaoss of Total Kaoss Production, were running the game. Then June decided to leave the game and attend college for two years up north. Now that June’s heart has brought him back to his first love, DJing, he’s doing big things and is more than ready to get the crowds jumpin’ again. June is now working with Mixmaster Gold and Regulator DJ’s and clubs like Catch 22 and The Maingate. BEWARE because June is back and hopefully coming to a club near you!
